18 December 2009 The Lincoln Rotary Club Carol Festival held on Friday 18th of December in Lincoln Cathedral by the kind permission of the Dean & Chapter was attended by the Mayor & Sheriff & DG Peter Manton. The evening had the added benefit of being the first public engagement of President David since his serious accident. The Rotary Club would like to thank the North Hykeham & District Choral Society, Westgate Junior School Choir, soloist Miss Olivia Warburton, Cathedral Organist Lauriate Colin Walsh and accompanist Rotarian Simon Clarke. The programme for the evening is at "Click here for the Carol Programme". The collection raised £500 for the Alzheimer´s Society & Headway, the charity that works to improve life after brain injury. |
