Visit of President of RIBI

District 1270 was delighted to host the visit of RIBI President David Fowler and Daphne on his whistle–stop tour. They should be commended for their fortitude in travelling from Malvern in extremely difficult weather conditions. The itinerary started on Wed 13th Jan with a working lunch attended by District officers and Rotarians from the Lincoln club. A lively discussion was evident, hopefully, to the mutual benefit of all present. That evening he attended a meeting of Goole Rotary Club. The next day it was lunch at the Market Rasen Club followed by the Stainborough Club in the evening. Friday involved a tree planting at South Cave & Wolds followed by lunch at the Rotary Club of Hull.

The contribution of Inner Wheel was also recognised . President David and DG Peter with Inner Wheel District Chairman Sue Brewer and friend.
